What is the Medical Examination Process for Ukrainians in Canada?

Upon arrival of Ukrainian clients to our clinic, our medical staff ask them to present their “Medical Diagnostic Test Instructions” that they have received from Immigration Canada (IRCC). Clients will then be asked to fill out number of forms and to present a valid government issued photo identification document such as a passport.

Staff will take a live photograph of client and upload them to their electronic medical case. The clients will then proceed for their medical examination after all the administration tasks are completed. A panel physician (Immigration Doctor) will conduct the following medical exams based on the age of Ukrainian clients:

Age	Ukrainian Client Medical Exams
0-10	Visual health check
11-14	Visual health check and x-ray
15 and above	Visual health check, blood test and x-ray

The panel physician then conducts a health check to determine if there are any noticeable issues present and then completes the medical examination with a blood test.
The final step of medical exams for the Ukrainian client is to complete their chest x-ray examination for anyone 11 years old or older.
